Zero fees for authors

CJES charges authors nothing. Specifically:

• No submission fees
• No article processing charges (APCs)
• No page charges
• No colour figure charges
• No reprint or template fees
• No fast-track or expedited-review fees

How is the journal funded?

CJES is fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia through the Department of Research and Innovation. This funding covers platform infrastructure, editorial staff, DOI registration, copy-editing, and long-term preservation. This model is sometimes called "diamond open access" or "platinum open access".

What is included at no cost

• Full peer review by external reviewers
• Crossref DOI assignment
• Copy-editing and proofreading after acceptance
• Production in JATS XML and PDF/A formats
• Hosting and long-term preservation (PKP PN + CLOCKSS)
• ORCID and ROR metadata linking

A note on transparency

CJES is committed to the DOAJ Principles of Transparency: we do not solicit authors through aggressive marketing, do not impose hidden fees, and have no affiliation with "predatory" publishing networks. Questions about our funding model are welcome — please contact the editorial office.
