About the journal
CJES is the peer-reviewed, open-access journal of the Department of Research and Innovation, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia. We publish original research, reviews, and case studies that advance education and STEM in Cambodia and the Mekong region.
Mission
To make Cambodia’s education and STEM research visible to the world, and to give Cambodian scholars an indexed venue that meets international peer-review standards.
Launched on 9 August 2023 by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, CJES exists to strengthen Cambodia’s research ecosystem. The journal publishes in Khmer and English under a CC BY 4.0 licence, twice a year (March and September), with continuous online publication of accepted articles between issues.
Aims and scope
CJES considers manuscripts that report rigorous, original research in education, the natural and applied sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics, and agriculture, with priority given to work that addresses Cambodian or regional contexts. We welcome research articles, review articles, short communications, case studies, and policy briefs.
